Douglas Brown served as a US Army officer before entering into management consulting with KPMG and various boutique consulting firms. Over a 20+ year career he advised the leaders of companies from Fortune 50 to 10-person firms. He also bought, built, and sold a small automotive repair business.
He is the author of several business books, including three on buying, running, and selling small businesses. He offers advisory services to owners so that their businesses are more profitable now and more valuable when the time comes to exit. He practices business brokerage (active purchases and sales) in Williamsburg, VA, and is also licensed to sell commercial real estate in VA.
